Located in Edison, Washington
5718 Gilkey Avenue
Edison, WA, is a tiny town in the Skagit Valley, surrounded by farmland, Samish Bay, and the foothills of the North Cascades. Edison truly is a bend in the road, flanked by the Edison Slough, a tidal waterway that leads boaters to Samish Bay. Bookended between Terramar Brewstillery and Smith & Vallee Gallery, our end of town is the place to be for beer, pizza and art. Your downstairs neighbor is a working artist with a printmaking and painting studio, sometimes offering printmaking workshops. The BreadFarm is open daily, the perfect stop for grabbing pastries and bread to go. Breakfast at Tweets, wine, spirits, sundries and delicious soups and sandwiches at Slough Food, lunch at Mariposas, two pubs and the Rhody Cafe just down the road for dinner leaves ample options for dining out. Perusing The Lucky Dumpster, Shop Curator and Hedgerow could take an entire afternoon!
